ALLURA Pumpkin Art Spectacular
October 2026
"A journey of art, light and imagination
unlike anything the Pioneer Valley has seen."
What Awaits You
Follow a dimly lit trail through Look Park's Sanctuary, past a variety of illuminated sculpted scenes. The path is fully accessible and takes 45–60 minutes at a leisurely pace.
From small single pumpkins to large 8' tall scenes — every turn reveals something new. No two sculptures are alike — each is an original, hand-carved work.
Tickets are timed so the path never feels crowded. You move at your own pace, linger as long as you like, and loop the path again if the mood strikes.
Warm up with seasonal bites and refreshments when food trucks are present select evenings — we will post when trucks are confirmed.
The Story of ALLURA
ALLURA was born from a simple question: what if a pumpkin could be a work of art? Not a jack-o-lantern, not a decoration — a sculpture. Something that stops you in your tracks and makes you look twice.
Every sculpture begins as a sketch. We spend months designing, refining, and carving each scene until we feel it's just right. Since we use "forever" pumpkins, the artwork should last for the entire season!
As darkness falls over Look Park, the path lights up. Hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins glow from within, casting warm amber light across the area. It is, by design, unlike anything you have seen before.
ALLURA is more than an event — it is the beginning of an annual tradition in the Pioneer Valley. Each year the sculptures change, the path evolves, and the story grows. This is only the beginning.
The Artists
Every sculpture at ALLURA is an original work. Meet the artists who bring them to life.
Lead Sculptor & Creative Director
For more than eight years, Peter has designed and created large-scale pumpkin displays for major venues across the country. He began his creative career as a diorama artist before transitioning to set design and later broadcast design in New York City, where he earned five Emmy Awards for his work in television design.
Following his relocation to the Pioneer Valley, Peter is collaborating with Look Park to present the inaugural ALLURA Pumpkin Art Spectacular, bringing together his experience creating large-scale pumpkin attractions and his lifelong passion for immersive visual storytelling.
Today, his illuminated pumpkin sculptures serve as the signature centerpieces of ALLURA. Using depth, shadow, and light, Peter creates luminous creatures that appear to emerge from within the pumpkins themselves, inspiring a sense of wonder and discovery in visitors of all ages.
Exquisite Pumpkin Art Carver
Andres brings an incredible level of focus and precision to every carving. His mastery of intricate linework and meticulous attention to detail produce stunning images that seem to come alive within the pumpkin. Each piece reflects both technical skill and artistic dedication.
His work is easily recognized around the path — especially on the single female portraits in the Dia De los Muertos scene. (Which happens to fall on the last day of the show — November 1st!)
